We have been very busy the last week attending mediations and getting cases settled. On all the recent cases we happened to be defending the person sued. We obtained reductions from the other side's initial demands of 67% in one case, 50% in another, and on a third case, 40%. Winning at a trial can be a very satisfying legal experience but at times a settlement is better, because courts do sometimes make mistakes and you control the outcome if you settle.
